Today I went to five different locations in Vermont.

My day started at the Cabot Creamery to learn about being transformed.  Here they make lots of yummy food, but they are famous for their cheddar cheeses.  They make all kinds of cheddar, and I got to see how they are made from start to finish.
Then I got to go to the Vermont Teddy Bear Company to learn about being filled.  My brother Samuel and I took a tour of the factory where all of the bears are made.  You can even make your own bear here.  I was going to do that until I saw all of the really cool bears that were already made in the store.
After that I learned about being refined at Dakin Farms.  Here they take the sap from the sugar maple tree and refine it into maple syrup. They also make other tasty foods like bacon, ham, fudge, and maple sugar candies. Everything is so delicious here.
Next I went to Lake Champlain Chocolates to learn about being crafted.  I am so excited to be able to take a tour of a chocolate factory.  I got to help make and package some of the chocolates, and I even got to make my own chocolate fish.
And to end my day, I went to the Shelburne Museum to learn about being restored. Here, they are restoring the Ticonderoga, the last side-wheel passenger steam boat in Vermont. It used to take people across Lake Champlain, but now it is at the museum, where people can tour it and see what life was like in the early 1900's.
Not only did I learn a lot, but I had lots of fun, tried some tasty foods, and had a little adventure along the way.  So come on, let's go.
