Favorite Music
I wanted to tell you about some of my favorite bands. Hawk Nelson is Christian Rock band that, I think, is from Atlanta. Their music is like bouncy — keep it flowing kind of rock. Another band I like is Decyfer Down. They are a hard rock band with great lyrics. Grits is a rap band that do fun, upbeat songs. I have one of their music videos on my Angel Wars DVD and I like to watch it with my friends. I also like country music and some classical music. I sometimes listen to Yanni and Josh Groban because my Mimi and my Mom listen to them, but I think they are pretty cool as well. I sometimes tease my Dad about him not liking that kind of music. My parents want me to listen to music that has a positive message and good concepts in it. That is cool by me, because I know that they love me and I trust them to help me know what is best for me.

This is Sarah again. My mom is typing. My favorite music is Classical music. I like to hear the violin and the piano play. Also, I have a keyboard and I like to listen to the different music on there. I really enjoy the marches. My Christmas Music CD is my favorite CD. My favorite song is “Winter Wonderland” by Steve Taylor. To me a good song is one that can that lets you have a crazy dance.

I would really suggest BarlowGirl. They are 3 sisters that do Christian rock (but not too rock-ish) and they have wonderful lyrics and vocals. They have 2 CDs out: BarlowGirl and Another Journal Entry. I think you would like Another Journal Entry best. My brother likes Hawk Nelson. They are accually from Canada just so you know…God bless you!
