Italian Sausage and Pepper Sandwiches

A Sensational Sandwich on the grill!
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 to 25 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes

2 medium green, red or yellow sweet peppers, cut julienne stripts
1 medium onion, chopped
3 tablespoons Italian salad dressing
4 fresh hot or mild Italian sausage links
4 French-style rolls, haved lengthwise

Tear off a 36 X 18-inch piece of heavy foil.
Fold in half to make a double thickness of foil that measures 18 X 18 inches.
Toss together peppers and onion.
Place pepper mixture in the center of the foil.
Drizzle with salad dressing.
Bring up two opposite edges of foil and seal with a double fold.
Then fold remaining ends to completely enclose the pepper and onions, leaving space for steam to build.
Refrigerate the packet till ready to grill.
Place the sausage links and the packet of the pepper mixture on the grill rack.
Cover and grill for 20 to 25 minutes or till sausage juices run clear and peppers are very tender, turning sausage once.
Split the rolls and toast on the grill.
Serve sausages in the rolls and top each with some of the pepper and onion.
