Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies
by K Taylor, Apr 7, 2007
This is probably the easiest cookie recipe you'll ever find. These a definitely a chewy scrumptious treat to look forward to.
Preparation Time: 5 min.
Cook Time: 8-11 min.
Total Time: 15 min. + cooling time
|
Yield: 15 cookies
Servings: 5-8
|
|
 |
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 large egg
1/2 cup chocolate chips*
|
|
|
 |
Make sure your oven rack is at mid level.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Lightly grease your baking or cookie sheet.
In a medium bowl, mix first 3 ingredients with a wooden spoon. Gently mix in chocolate chips.
Drop by tablespoon onto baking sheet about 2 inches apart, and bake 8-11 min. till golden brown but not quite brown around edges. Remove from oven.
Cool atleast 10 min. on wire rack.
*You may omit the chips and press drop cookies down with a fork (criss-cross) on baking sheet for chewy peanut butter cookies. Or substitute white chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, nuts or raisins for chocolate chips. Experiment a little.
